North Carolina 811 and our PIPES Plus partners have teamed up to bring you the information you need to understand the processes that helps protect you, your work force and the underground utilities that may conflict with your excavation efforts. This program is part of an on-going national effort to increase knowledge of safe digging, damage prevention for underground utilities and emergency responses. This video based training includes information covering excavation best practices, North Carolina 811, distribution and transmission pipelines, utility locating, electric line both overhead and underground, telecommunication lines, water and sewer.
